The project is simple in concept and limited in scope.

bullet

We are collecting (from libraries and publishers) 1000 recent, superceded editions of reference books in good condition.  We prefer titles like those listed in Books for College Libraries but will be grateful for books from reference collections in all kinds of libraries.

With help from the Friends of Reed Library, we are sorting and evaluating them for condition and duplicates at the Daniel A. Reed Library of the SUNY College at Fredonia.

We are shipping them to the Asia Foundation's Books for Asia warehouse in San Francisco.

The Asia Foundation will containerize them and ship them, with other books, to their Phnom Penh offices

The library staff at the Library of the Royal Academy of Cambodia will pick them up, process them, and add them to their collection.
